Why We Built This Site
Georgia court records may be public under court rules and common-law principles, but finding the custodian still takes care. The Georgia Open Records Act does not simply treat judicial files like records of an executive agency. Wilcox County Superior Court uses PeachCourt as an account-based access layer, while Janet Mauldin, Clerk of Superior Court, keeps the official Superior Court record. Probate and Magistrate maintain separate dockets, and city matters follow municipal routes. We bring those distinctions, official contacts, access limits, and request steps together in one reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Wilcox County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by exact number through the documented provider or clerk route
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not connected with a Georgia court, clerk, or government agency. Those limits affect every request:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some content pages carry search tools operated by outside providers. Each provider controls its own service, prices, privacy terms, and results. A paid signup reached through a tool may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's charges, determine its coverage, or certify its data. Official Wilcox County records must still be verified with the court or clerk that maintains them.
